Microtech's UTX-85 231-5 has had a few new improvements to its anodized aluminum handle. However, the drop point Elmax steel is still the same. The new handle has rounded edges and notches which offer comfort and stability. Even the thumb slide was redesigned to offer a firmer grip when deploying and retracting the blade. As always this Microtech features a pocket clip and glass breaker.

One cool feature out Microtech OTFs is that any time the blade is completely deployed or retracted the inner spring is completely at rest. So less wear and tear than other OTF knives.
